"Tatanka" means buffalo in Native American Lakota. Tanka was to be my show and performance dog but an unfortunate accident left him without show or working abilities. He was our icon here at SpiritHawk and a much beloved pet.

"Tezi" means yellow wind in Native American. She has been a performance whirl wind. She has gained all her titles with ease and grace and always with a smile on her face. Tezi also has one leg toward her Junior Hunt title. She excels in a kind and willing temperament and she seems to pass that down to all her babies. She has champion get and many with working titles.

Spirit is our performance girl. She has great trainability with lots of drive. Her attitude is one of always wanting to please. Spirit completed her companion dog title and will move on the novice agility and she has lots of drive in the field. She also has some promising offspring just waiting to go into the conformation and working rings. Spirit also completed her WC (working certificate) with great enthusiasm.

Spirit is now nine years old. She is devoting her second half of her life to a wonderful family. She has earned a rich and rewarding retirement. We love you Spirit!

Summer is now nearing nine years old. She was a beautiful girl to show. She is a full sister to Ch. Spirithawk's Takotah which we showed together as a sister and brother team. Both did extremely well and were a joy to be around. Summer is also the mother to our Summerwood Jacy O'Spirithawk and our Summerwood Pogonip Spirithawk. She did an outstanding job in the whelping box as well.
